Xi'an City Wall
Xi'an is one of the ancient capitals of China, including during the times of the Qin Dynasty (Terra-Cotta Warriors; 221-207 BCE) and the Tang Dynasty (often considered the "Golden Age" of the Chinese civilization; 618-907 CE). During those times it was called "Chang'an". We visited the wall that surrounds the center of the city on July 18, 2009.
