Panorama looking north from the second floor of the watch tower at the South Gate. In the distance along the center line of the city is the Bell Tower. Our Xi'an guide told us that eventually all of the buildings inside the city wall will be remodelled in the Tang Dynasty style (such as is happening to the hotel on the left side of the pan).
