There are four basic groups of warriors: calvary, infantry, archery, and chariot groups (they can be sub-dvided further into high-ranking officers, mid-level officers, and kneeling and standing archers). Most of the ones in Pit 1 are infantry soldiers. These ones here may be part of a calvary group. The horse details are such that the ages of the horses can be determined from the teeth. All of the chariot horses were six years of age.
