Old gnarly oak trees in The Oregon Garden (Silverton, OR USA)
These trees are around a couple of hundred years old and they have adapted
to the conditions of their envirnonment by twisting around and spreading into
these tortured shapes. All of the pictures were taken in August 2002.

Redwoods

Waterfalls of Silver Falls State Park
Images of some of the waterfalls in Silver Falls State Park in Oregon taken
in July 2007. This state park has a number of very beautiful falls and hiking trails. Several of the trails
go behind the falls under the rock overhang.
