The public video lectures cover just the astronomy content from the Astronomy Notes textbook. The public lectures do not include the material that is for the Bakersfield College astronomy class such as how to use the class Canvas, lecture outlines in the Student Guide, exam review documents, etc. Students in the Bakersfield College astronomy classes should use the astronomy class lecture videos posted in the class Canvas to get that class-specific content.
For those not in the class with an interest in astronomy at the first-year college, non-science major general education level, these public videos are for you. The lectures provide a concept overview and designed to complement the Astronomy Notes content, not replace it. Most of the topics will have the lecture chunked into three or four pieces each of five to ten-ish minutes in length. Here are the chapter video lecture landing pages:

The class version of this includes how to use the lecture outlines which include the reading assignments and vocabulary terms in conjunction with the exam review sheets and the class Canvas modules.
