Close-up of the north side of the Bell Tower. The original bell (Jingyun Bell from the Tang Dynasty) is now at the Forest of Stone Steles Museum. The current bell on the northwest corner is a much smaller one cast in the Ming Dynasty and is "only" 5 tons.
