Info from the plaque next to it:
Gate of Prayer for Good Harvests
This square roofed structure is the main gate to the Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests. The three central bays of this 5-bay structure are designated as the gate. It is situated on a high terrace surrounded with balustrades of the highest-ranking gate system in ancient China. The middle door was exclusively the God of Heaven, the east one for the Son of Heaven---the emperor, and the west one was for the court officials. It is an original building of the early Ming Dynasty (1368-1644).
