Lisa in front of the east side stairway to the Hall of Prayer. There are three sets of stairs with 9 steps each. There is the bottom cloud level, the phoenix level, and the dragon level. The original Hall was constructed in 1420 as a rectangular building. Rebuilt into a circular hall all of wood with no nails in 1530. All of the buildings and grounds in the Temple of Heaven were restored in 2005-06, re-opening to the public on May 1, 2006.
