Sculpture of the pointer stars (alpha and beta Centauri) and the Southern Cross (see the key below) outside the Wollongong Science Centre + Planetarium. The South Celestial Pole would be at the balcony from where the picture was taken. The height of the poles corresponds to the brightness of the stars as seen from Earth. The short pole in the center corresponds to a star in Musca and the short pole in the lawn at left corresponds to a star in Lupus.
