View of Yosemite Valley, California as seen from the "Valley of Ice" viewpoint near Valley View on Hwy 140 near intersection with Hwy 41 (west end of the valley). The sheer cliffs of El Capitan is prominent at left (see the next picture for a close-up of El Capitan). To the right of El Capitan at the far end of the valley is Clouds Rest and further right is Half Dome. In front of Half Dome and just right of it is Sentinel Rock. Further right closer to the viewer are three peaks called Cathedral Rocks. Behind the leftmost Cathedral Rock is Sentinel Dome. To the right of the rightmost Cathedral Rock even closer to the viewer is Leaning Tower. Bridal Veil Fall is center-right. A picture labelling the landmarks is available here.
