Earth globe Our Beautiful Planet

These pictures by Nick Strobel from his yard in Bakersfield give a taste of the beauty just outside the door. The last several pictures are from his hike between Wahkeena Falls and Multnomah Falls in Oregon. These pictures are copyrighted by Nick Strobel. You may use these pictures if you clearly and explicitly cite my authorship of the images and show how to get to my website at www.astronomynotes.com. This page has links to flowers and the insects that like flowers. For flowers in the hills, see my Kern County Spring page, Duane Shoffner's album, or my Spring 2006 Flower Rainbow page. Other pages in the "Our Beautiful Planet" album include a set of Land Formations pictures , Streams and Trees pictures, and Aurorae pictures from Fairbanks, Alaska.
